| ■ 抄録・要旨 | 2001年の夏〜秋にかけて、本来暖地性の蝶であるムラサキツバメ（Arhopala bazalus）が公園、公共施設、工業団地や街路に植栽されているマテバシイ（Pasania edulis）をホストとして埼玉県平野部で広域的に発生したことを確認した。本種はアジアの熱帯から亜熱帯を中心に棲息するが、我が国においては紀伊半島付近以西に自然分布していた。ところが、この数年で急激に関東地方まで分布を拡大したものである。アメダスのデータで1970年代、1990年代それぞれ後期の東海〜関東にかけての冬期平均気温を比較し、また年間冬日日数等を検討した結果、少なくも昨年は、関東南部で越冬した個体群の子孫の移動によって夏以降の本県における広域的発生が生じた可能性が高いと考えられた。 In the year 2001, Arhopala bazalus was occurred in summer and autumn throughout the lowland of Saitama Prefecture. Judging from our observation on the position of the feeding marks left by the larvae, on the leaves of the food-plant, Pasania edulis, the occurrence of this species in Saitama Prefecture was possible to be caused by the migration of the populations of adult butterfly from the southern breeding sites in Kanto District. We have gotten little evidence so far that they could overwinter in Saitama Prefecture. |
